The Title "Hanua Mero" means "Village Boy" in the Motuan language in Papua New Guinea (PNG) . The Concept of the animation was inspired by my grandparents and family who left PNG to come to Australia and adapt to a western way of life. We generalised it on a more broader scale creating a Traditional Village boy. thoughout the animation he keeps his necklace symbolically it represents his culture and not forgeting your roots.
Big thanks to Mark for letting us use his song "No Goodbye" its was perfect bro, a definate icing on the cake.
